Aims, contents and method of the course
The Krakatau Islands will be used to demonstrate effects of island isolation and area on species richness, species composition and colonization dynamic. Model organisms will be birds and butterflies. The field course will be conducted together with Indonesian students of the Agricultural University Bogor (Westjava).
