Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In this seminar students read current literature related to topics in human ethology and present the content to their fellows giving talks and providing a written summary. They are encouraged to adopt a critical position towards the methods, theories and findings of the authors in order to train their better understanding of the field. Discussion of the topics, contributing own ideas and critiques is asked for in this course. Thus, students should learn how to gain insights from scientific literature without falling prey to believing too much.
