Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim is to achieve a deeper insight into the distribution of the continents through time, to realize the mechanismen of plate tectonics which lead to the diversifiction and migration of organisms in marine as well as in terrestrial habitats.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Eine vertiefte paläobiogeographische Kenntnis, Mechanismen, Abäufe, Grundmuster, zu erlangen.
Examination topics
Die StudentInnen erhalten Vorträge zu den einzelnen Themen und müssen einzelne Bereich sich im Unterricht mittels Kartenblättern erarbeiten.
