Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Taxonomy and systematics of invertebrates with emphasis on morphology and palaeodiversity. Students will know about the morphology and systematics of the important higher taxa of invertebrate metazoan fossils. They are aware of the evolution and diversity history of these taxa through the Phanerozoic.
Videos and pdfs of Powerpoint presentations will be provided on the Moodle platform well in advance. This material should be studied in preparation for the lecture. During the lecture we will answer questions of the students.

First examination: 1 February 2024
Further examinations in early March and June or upon request

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Each teaching unit will be treated with one question. Korrectly answered qurestions receive 5 points. A positive evaluation requires 50% of the total score.
