The preparatory meeting will take place on April 21, 2023, 11:30 am, CMESS Seminar room 2.1 (UBB, 2nd floor)
The practical course will take place in Piran, Slovenia, between August 7 and 18, 2023 (departure from Vienna on August 6 and arrival in Vienna on August 19).

Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation to the preparatory meeting, to the experiments, to the interpretation of the obtained results and final presentation and protocol.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Participation to the whole field course, presentation of the obtained results on the last day and written report.
Examination topics
Theoretical background (chemosynthetic symbioses, in particular lucinid and stilbonematid symbioses) and understanding of the results obtained during the practical course.
