Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This course offers an intensive training to get familiar with several methods in plant physiology, eco-physiology, applied plant physiology and primary production. The fitness of plants is studied by stress physiological research: The impact of environmental factors on photosynthesis, on carbon sequestration, on functional growth analysis, on energy ratios (balances) and on functional leaf anatomy are carefully analysed and differences are statistically evaluated in relation to applied ecology in horticulture, agriculture and forestry. The course is designed to support research activities of diploma- and doctoral students.
