Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Nine research units are prepared to lead small groups of students (max. 12) through the theory and praxis of techniques used in neuroscience research. The topics covered are i) neuroanatomy/histology; ii) biochemistry and pharmacology of nerve conduction; iii) electrophysiology; iv) the sensory system; v) cellular neurobiology; vi) disorders of the nervous system; vii) neuroimmunology; viii) cognitive neuroscience; ix) molecular biology of the nervous system. This course is held in English language. There are small written tests at the end of each laboratory course the final grade is the average of the nine evaluations during the laboratory tutorials.
