Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim of the course is to acquire skills in dealing with the historical histological material, its potential to extract anatomical detail from otherwise inaccessible taxa and to reconstruct the 3D structures

The course will be divided in three parts:
- Scanning the slides (or otherwise producing the images from the histological section series)
- Alignment and attempt to reconstruct the original tissue or organ
- Interpretation

Students will each receive a series of histological slides, which to scan, study and attempt to reconstruct in the course.
