Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The participants in the seminar discuss current research topics in functional and evolutionary ecology. During the biweekly meetings, domain-specific research problems, methods, data analysis, literature, and research results of current projects will be presented and discussed. The objectives of the seminar are to practice the presentation of research methods and results, scientific communication and discussion, and the required literature research to evaluate results in the context of the international state of the art.

Assessment and permitted materials

- Presentation of own research project / results or written summary of the presentations in one of the seminar sessions
- Peer feedback on three other presentations

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Participation in all seminars, positive evaluation by the lecturers on both requirements listed above. Final grade is computed as the average between the two partial grades.
