Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
During the biweekly meetings, the participants discuss current research topics in archaeal biology, biotechnology, environmental cell biology, evolutionary genomics, limnology, marine biology, prokaryotic physiology and systems biology. For each discipline, current research projects will be presented and discussed. Each presentation will include state of research, hypotheses/open questions, methods, results and outlook. The objectives of the seminar are to practice scientific communication and discussion.
Assessment and permitted materials
Participation to all seminars is mandatory. Moreover, each student must either present their own research topic (Master or PhD work) or critically summarise two presentations of choice (1 page max per presentation).
