Aims, contents and method of the course
In the framework of the field course various aspects of the ecology of waterbirds will be studied in the National Park Neusiedler See-Seewinkel. Model organisms will be e.g. herons, spoonbills, cormorants and greyleg geese.
Assessment and permitted materials
The results of all research projects have to be presented in a seminar (contribution to final mark: 1/3). (2) A written report has to be submitted after the end of the course (contribution to final mark: 2/3).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Study design, field work, data analysis, oral presentation of results and writing of a scientific manuscript (= Bachelor thesis).
