Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The students gain further knowledge about the morphology of mammals from the Cenocoic. Emphasis lays on the morphology and reconstuction of fossil forms from the ordo Carnivora, Suidae, Artiodactyla, Perissodactlya and Proboscidea, as well as Rodentia and Lagmorpha.
Assessment and permitted materials
Bestimmung des Fossilmaterials in Form von zwei Zwischenprüfungen Termine werden im Kurs besprochen.

Examination topics
Der Kurs umfasst Mazerationsübungen. An Hand dieser Vergleichstücke und anderer die zur Verfügung gestellt werden, soll Fossilmaterial bestimmt werden. Für die zeitliche Einstufung wird mittels Binokulare Kleinsäugermaterial gezeichnet und bestimmt.
