Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Based on theoretical and practical units, different methods regarding behavioural physiological research questions are presented (e.g., oestrous cycle monitoring, blood glucose measurements, measurements of oxygen consumption, body temperature measurements, hormone analyses, behavioural phenotyping, behavioural coding, statistical analyses). Several short data collections are carried out in small groups with subsequent statistical analysis of the data. The results of individual research questions should be presented orally at the end of the course.

Assessment and permitted materials

Presence and participation in the units (obligatory) + oral presentation.
Continuous assessment of course work! (prüfungsimmanente Lehrveranstaltung)
