Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture features a comprehensive and clear access to the basics and techniques of tissue culture, to selective gene expression, signal transduction, various physiological and pathological transitions of cells and to experimental animal models. In addtion, insights into the rapidly developing and complex issue of stem cells will be delivered. The lecture is closely linked to and the prerequisite for the Practical Course in Molecular Genetics and Pathology (300107) and the Seminar in Cell Biology (300604).
