Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar in the field of behavioural ecology offers students working on their Master's thesis the opportunity to present and discuss their projects - either during the proposal phase or before the defence (or both), to receive feedback. The goal is to conceptually and methodologically check, and improve, ongoing studies that will result in an MSc thesis.

Assessment and permitted materials

Presence is obligatory; oral presentation – either during the planning phase of your thesis (presenting the concept) or during the preparation of your defence; contributions to discussions.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

To pass the course, you must give an oral presentation on your MSc thesis and not be absent more than 2 times. The presentation and following Q&A session contribute 80% of the final grade; the participation in the discussion another 20%.

Examination topics

Not applicable.

Reading list

Depending on your research topic - will be discussed in the seminar.
