Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Teaching materials are taken from relevant refereed journals (e.g. Ecological Economics). The articles are read together and then the content is discussed together. (optionally in German or English)
Assessment and permitted materials
The course is exam-immanent. Attendance frequency as well as cooperation in the course of discussions on the discussed articles are evaluated.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
At the end of the seminar a good overview of current topics in human ecology and sustainability research can be achieved.
Examination topics
Independent reading and joint discussion of current scientific articles of sustainability science
Reading list
The literature used in the course is continuously placed on the e-learning platform for the course.
