Aims, contents and method of the course

Theoretical concepts in GeoInformatics are discussed especially in the context of Vegetation- and Landscape Ecology as well as Nature Conservation. The course is strongly focused on Vector based Geodata, Raster Data Concepts and analyses are presented at the end of the course:
-Data Acquisition and Integration
-Cartography
-Analyses of spatial data
-Data(-base) Management
-Open (Government) Data
