Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Concepts in GeoInformatics are discussed especiall in the context of Vegetation- and Landscape Ecology as well as Nature Conservation. The course is focused on working on Vector based Geodata with use of ESRI software package ArcGIS 10.2:
-Data Acquisition and Integration
-Catography
-Analyses of spatial data
-Database Management
-Open Data
-Open Source Software

All exercises have to be done and a minimum of 3(4) of them must be evaluated as positiv to pass the whole course!
