Development of unialgal batch-cultures under variable light- and nutrient supply will be observed by analyzing various hydrochemical variables. On basis of raw data some typical units like doubling time and growth rate will be calculated and interpreted. Additionally, primary prodctivity will be measured and P/I curves created. Ecophysiological questions, their interpretations and the introduction into limnological standard methods are main aims of this exercise.
