Aims, contents and method of the course

This course will be taught entirely in English. It will consist of 6 lectures approximately 90min long, with the first meeting on 06.10.2021 at 11:30 in Seminarraum 1.7, Biologie Djerassiplatz 1, 1.010, Ebene 1 1.010
Depending on the number of students and room capacity the course may be taught entirely "on-site", in hybrid mode (some people on-site, some online), or entirely online. We will notify you of any changes and updates.
This course will cover the topics of the diversity of animal genomes, the mechanisms of their evolution, and methodology of analysis (phologenetic inference, phylogenomics, genome architecture evolution).
