Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lection deals with recently described species of mammals and birds. Furthermore, status and ecological situation of rare species are discussed. The following topics are planned (selection): Newly discovered bovids and deer in South-East Asia, status of Great Blue Macaws in Brazil, the actual status of the rhinos, reintroduction and breeding projects, the Lemurs of Madagascar: species near extinction and newly discovered species.
