Aims, contents and method of the course

Taxonomy and Ecology of Ostracoda (Crustacea).
Students will work on the taxonomic and the morphologic diversities of ostracod assemblages and their application to environmental problems using the programs PRIMER and MORPHOMATICA. It is possible also to discuss on the way one can use the information offered by the diversity of ostracods for environmental monitoring.
