Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Selected literature on microbial symbiosis will be read, presented, and discussed.
Assessment and permitted materials
The attendance to each seminar, the active participation to the discussions, the exposes, and the oral presentation will all contribute to the grade.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The aims of this seminar is to read, present, and discuss selected literature on symbiosis. Weekly, throughout the semester, all students will read a certain scientific research article or book chapter and will write a short expose. In addition each student will give an oral presentation on a specific topic, which will be discussed in detail with one of the teachers a week prior the presentation.
Examination topics
The students will learn how to search for-, evaluate, present and discuss scientific papers.
