Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction to fundamental principles of Biology Education, including:
theories of learning, biology teacher as a profession/professional knowledge, working with students' ideas and interests, lesson planning, teaching methods and teaching settings, media in biology lessons, scientific literacy, educational goals-competences-learning goals, selection and structuring of content: xurriculum-educational standards, performance assessment and evaluation, biology education research

For a positive completion of the written exam, at least 50% of the maximum number of points is required.
