Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Long-term scientific research and ongoing monitoring are the task of the National Park company (National park Law NPG 1992). The results constitute the basis of the management plans of the National Park company. The following topics are currently investigated: Ecology, spatial distribution and economic value of huntable game in the Seewinkel and Neusiedler See area - conflicts and solutions in the context of the National Park are discussed; fish monitoring within the reed belt and in the open lake; ornithological monitoring within the reed belt and in the conservation areas of the Seewinkel.
