Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture primarily deals with biological approaches to the development and control of human communication, with special regard to non-verbal behavior. I present a new dynamical model, which will be discussed in detail on all the levels of verbal as well as non-verbal communication. This lecture will further address how the integration of the different channels of communication (auditory, visual, tactile and olfactory) leads to the emergence of meaning, and how communication governs social interactions. Lecture notes are available at the secretary.
