In this lab course basic techniques of molecular biology will be taught and students will learn to apply these techniques independently.
The following techniques are included:
Isolation, analyses und detection of DNA from bacteria and yeast, PCR (analytical; inverse; preparative), transformation of E.coli and yeast, plasmid preparation, restriktion, ligation, Southern hybridisation, SDS-PAGE, Western blot.
