Aims, contents and method of the course

In this lab course basic techniques of molecular biology will be taught and students will learn to apply these techniques independently.The following techniques are included: isolation, analyses und detection of DNA from bacteria and yeast, PCR (analytical; inverse; preparative), transformation of E.coli and yeast, plasmid preparation, restriction, ligation, Southern
hybridisation, SDS-PAGE, Western blot.; Maximum number of participants:
