Continuous assessment of course work

Maximale Teilnehmerzahl: 12 Personen, Paläobiologen werden zuerst genommen, dann all jenen die BPB 2 bzw. B-BPB 2 absolviert haben. Bitte nur einen Punkt setzten, da die Punktzahl NICHT die Aufnahme garantiert.
Vorbesprechung am Dienstag 01. März 2011, 12:00 Uhr im Neumayr-Saal (2A 502, Institut für Paläontologie). Die Lehrgrabung wird in Griechenland (Thermopigi) zwischen 24.08. - 05.09.2011 gemeinsam mit Kollegen der Univ. Thessaloniki statt finden. Kosten: die Flugkosten nach Thessaloniki sind selbst zu tragen, sowie eine Umkostenbeitrag für Wohnen und Transport innerhalb von Griechenland in der Höhe von Euro 100.-.

Aims, contents and method of the course

The students will learn primary excavation techniques and get an introduction into collecting and preserving fossil vertebrates.
