Die Grabung findet in der Zeit von 22.08. bis 04.09.2016 in der Schwaigerhöhle (Bärenschütz, Steiermark) statt. Eine Woche Teilnahme erforderlich. Details werden bei der Vorbesprechung erklärt. Anreise erfolgt durch den Institutsbus, oder mit dem Privat-PKW.

Vorbesprechung für die Höhlengrabung am Mi 07.03.18 um 12:00 Uhr im Wilhelm Klaus Saal (2A225).
Höhlengrabung findet in der Zeit von 27.08. bis 02.09.18 statt. Präparation und Aufarbeitung des Materials, Erstellen eines Berichtes anschließend von Mo 03. bis Mi 05.09.18.
Kaution wird in der Höhe von Euro 100.- bei der Vorbesprechung eingehoben. Gesamtkosten ca. Euro 220.-.

Aims, contents and method of the course
Die Studierenden lernen Grabungsmethoden (Profilaufnahme, Bergung von Fossilien, Präparation, Bestimmen, Inventarisieren) und bekommen einen kurzen geologischen Überblick über die Region im allgemeinen und über die Fundstelle im speziellen.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written report after the participation on this excavation including the stratigraphy, geology and fossil content of the site.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Through taking part in a scientific excavation the students will have more insight into the tasks and solutions of this work.
