Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The participants discuss the different aspects of ecological roles of plant microbe interaction research, based on contemporary papers.
Major Topics A) Plant Pathogens, B) Plant-Microbial Symbioses, C) Tripartite interactions

Assessment and permitted materials

Attendance control, handout, presentation of the chosen topic.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Following the ductus of the chosen manuscripts, students deal with the methodological aspects of the paper, explain field and laboratory techniques and interpret the data and hypothesis testing. Furthermore, the participants practice the handling of "scientific English" and train presentation and discussion skills.

Examination topics

Guided preparation, presentation, discussion.
