Aims, contents and method of the course
Parasitology as a discipline of the biological sciences, fundamental aspects of parasitology, basic concepts of this discipline, parasitism as a natural way of life among a large numbers of organisms, basic taxonomy, evolution of parasites, complexity of the relationship between the parasite and its host, host specifity, physiological adaptions.
