The course will take place from Jan 10 until Jan 28, 2022 at the Department of Evolutionary Biology, Unit Integrative Zoology, Djerassiplatz 1, 1030 Vienna, 4th floor.


Aims, contents and method of the course

Perform fluorescence staining and analysis using confocal microscopy
Major insights into writing a scientific research paper

Assessment and permitted materials

Participation, oral presentations, written manuscript;
presence, participation, mid-project presentation (Power Point): 20%
final presentation (Power Point): 20%
written manuscript: 60%
All subparts must be positively evaluated (minimum character "4") for successful overall evaluation. Overall character must be "4" or better for successful participation.
