Aims, contents and method of the course
In this practical course we introduce the most advanced techniques in human ethology. Students learn how to work with sophisitcated methods while carrying out a research project. The topics of the projects are developed in collaboration with the students and deal mostly with communicative behavior. Students are encouraged to apply modern techniques in data collection and advanced statistical tests in the analysis. The main aim of this course ist to familiarize students with up-to-date technology and knowledge. The progress of the project will be documented in technical reports, as usual for funded projects.
