Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Nerve cells in the brain are characterized by a fascinating morphological diversity of their axons and dendrites and highly specific synaptic connections. Using a variety of modern microscopic and transgenic approaches in the model organism Drosophila, the organization of different brain circuits will be analyzed on a single cell resolution. The course will include an introductory lecture series discussing the applied research techniques as well as functional aspects of the Drosophila brain regions.
