Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar is a core activity for the department. Each week we have a research presentation by one of our groups or by a guest from other Austrian or international institutions. This is followed by an in-depth discussion, designed to share research ideas and improve our understanding of the issues. Focus is on the latest modern developments in systematic and evolutionary botany.

Assessment and permitted materials

Preparation and presentation of a seminar (using PowerPoint or comparable tools); active, regular participation in in-depth discussions.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

This seminar is designed to inform participants of the newest and most critical issues in systematic and evolutionary botany. Attendance is most important for all students and departmental researchers to become informed of the latest developments in our research field.
