Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar focuses on the modern developments in systematic and evolutionary botany. Each week we have a research presentation by a member of our research groups, including students, or by a guest from other Austrian or international institutions. This is followed by an in-depth discussion, designed to share research ideas and improve our understanding of the aspects presented.
Assessment and permitted materials
Preparation and presentation of a seminar (using PowerPoint or comparable tools); active, regular participation in in-depth discussions.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
This seminar is designed to inform participants of the newest and most critical issues in systematic and evolutionary botany. Attendance is important for all students and departmental researchers to become informed of the latest developments in our research field.
