Preliminary meeting: 06.10.2022, 10:00-11:00 a.m. Place: Department of Botany and Biodiversity Research, Rennweg 14, 1030 Wien. If you cannot be there, please send a representative. The course will be held in a blocked form over five days from 16.01-20.01.2023, between 09-18:00 at Rennweg 14.

Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Based on a written protocol (60%) and active participation (40%) throughout the course.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students prepare specimens for LM (microwave fixation, Kulzer-embedding, microtomy, different staining techniques) and SEM/TEM, they document specimens digitally, analyse, and interpret their own results.
Examination topics
Lectures, demonstrations, and practical work throughout the course.
