in common that behaviour and ecology of mammals and birds are
presented in an integrated and comparative fashion. The emphasis
alternates between behaviour and ecology from semester to
semester. In this semester the focus will be on perception,
communication, and cognition. Students will get insights in
behavioural and ecological hypotheses and will, in the course of the
semester, also get an overview of the diversity and phylogeny of
birds and mammals.
