Aims, contents and method of the course
Introduces field and lab methods to graduate students (diploma or thesis work). Concerns primarily work in behaviour and ecology of birds. Focuses on mating systems, acoustic and optical communication, ecological sexual dimorphism, habitat selection, and conservation. Includes statistical and genetic analyses, and research based on work with GISs.
