Aims, contents and method of the course

Professional text processing for scientific articles, dynamic implementation of a reference database, generation of a glossary and index, etc. with LaTeX; image processing with GIMP; graphic and poster creation with InkScape

Assessment and permitted materials

At last lecture date: delivery of a final document, written with the basics taught in the course. Papers and documentation may be used.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The aim of the course is, to impart basic knowledge in LaTeX for writing scientific documents; additionally, basic knowledge in GIMP and InkScape will be taught.
