Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture provides substancial knowledge about the edaphic system, i.e the soil inhabitated and formed by plant roots, the most important organisms,the main trophic webs and interactions as well as the contemporary approaches to analyse and characterise these habitates. A special focus of interest is ecosystem developpment and sustainability. The course will include contributions from experts working in relevant institutions in Vienna and guests from abroad.
