Aims, contents and method of the course

Osteology and archaeological performance of mammals with emphasis on the domesticate species and European lage mammals. Domestication history. Animal-Human relationsships in prehistory and early history. Determination of animal remains from archaeological contexts. Recognition of surface marks and other types of bone modifications. Age and sex determination.
