Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Eastern Austria is comparatively rich in different landscape types and provides ample opportunities to experience nature conservation problems in the field. The aim of the whole set of excursions is to give an overview of the landscape, habitat and plant-species diversity, by visiting representative locations such as national parks, nature reserves or selected habitas in ordinary landscapes. Excursions are organized as guided Tours of 3-4 days with 1-3 Stops during each day. The participants should actively work together in small groups by anticipating the relevant information given by the tour-guides, discussing conservation issues in the field and preparing a final report.
