Aims, contents and method of the course

Eastern Austria is comparatively rich in different landscape types and provides ample opportunities to experience nature conservation problems in the field. The aim of the whole set of excursions is to give an overview of the landscape, habitat and plant-species diversity, by visiting representative and ecologically valuable locations in protected areas as well as in the ordinary landscapes. The participants are led by the tour-guides but should also actively work together in small groups by anticipating the relevant information.
