Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In this seminar students read and discuss recent and important research and review papers. Papers are rated on the basis of their originality, quality and impact on the respective field. The presentation is judged with regard to clarity and style of illustration. In this way students are introduced to the format of scientific articles and learn to avoid pitfalls in preparing their own manuscripts. In addition students are assigned leading journals in which they search for new literature in certain defined fields and present abstracts of papers to their peers.
