Aims, contents and method of the course
Human ecology and sustainability science are innovative fields of research that include multi-, inter- and transdisciplinary elements. This comes with specific methodological challenges. These challenges are presented, analyzed and discussed in the context of concrete research projects. Special attention is given to the participants' envisioned or ongoing master theses and PhD theses in the context of human ecology and sustainability science.
Assessment and permitted materials
Attendance, active participation and project presentation will be evaluated
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Understanding and implementation of quality standard and best practice guidelines within the preparation and conduct of multi-, inter- and transdisciplinary research-projects in the realms of human ecology and sustainability science.

Individual presentations by participants and group discussions
