What is biochemistry?
basic chemistry knowledge for biochemistry, small molecules (amino acids, co-factors, vitamines), structure and function of proteins, enzymology and metabolism, cellular compartments, carbohydrate metabolism, mitochondrial metabolism, chloroplasts and photosynthesis, lipids, nitrogen- and sulfur metabolism, nucleic acids and "metabolism of information", principles of regulation, -omics: transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics - what is it, and what is it good for?
