Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
- basics of different light microscopical methods,- fluorescence microscopy and modern laser scanning microscopy- computer enhanced video- and UV-microscopy- micromanipulation and micorinjection- documentation on video and film.
Assessment and permitted materials
personal contributions during the courseanalysis of an object in the light microscope with the different techniques:discussion, which techniques are adequate and which are notwritten evaluation of study progress
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Light microscopical techniques are standards for biological questions; therefore, the knowledge of these methods is essential in biology. This course is dealing with the methods that are linked to the light microscope.
Examination topics
