Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The first part of the lecture presents the theoretical background of vegetation ecology (phytosociology). Topics include the filter-model of the plant community, the association concept, character and differential species, constancy and fidelity, syntaxonomic hierarchy. In the second part of the lecture, an overview of the vegetation types of Central Europe is given. The corresponding EU habitat types are discussed.

written test; the list of vegetation classes, orders and alliances provided during the lecture may be used

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Erfolgreiche Ablegung der VO-Prüfung. Es sind 4 Fragen zu je 5 Punkten zu beantworten. Max. Punkteanzahl (100 %): 20.
Notenskala: ab 17.5 = 1, ab 15.0 = 2, ab 12.5 = 3, ab 10.0 = 4, kleiner 10 = 5.

Examination topics

Inhalt der Vorlesung. Assoziationen, diagnostische Arten und FFH-Lebensraumtypen werden jedoch nicht geprüft.
Die in der VO verwendeten Präsentationsunterlagen ("Folien") stehen über die Lernplattform moodle zum download zur Verfügung.
